Job summary

Thales UK is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer in Crawley to join a collaborative team responsible for manufacturing and repairing both customer and developmental items. The role emphasizes electrical, electronic, and mechanical assembly, fault logging, and diligent documentation.

Applicants should have production test experience, be able to read diagrams and drawings, and hold an HNC/HND in Electronics or equivalent with several years of relevant experience, plus MS Word/Excel

Qualifications

• Experience in a Production Test or multi-skilled environment.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of through-hole and surface mount tech.
• Fault diagnosis and repair to component level.
• HNC/HND in Electronics or equivalent plus 3 years’ relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical assembly to defined standards.

• Maintain essential documentation throughout the build/test process.
• Use tools and production equipment safely and efficiently.

Test Engineer

We’re looking for an Integration and Test Engineer to join our collaborative and innovative team. You’ll play a key role in the manufacture and repair of both customer and developmental items — using your technical skills to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

• Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical assembly to defined standards
• Identify and log faults with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain essential documentation throughout the build/test process
• Use tools and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Work closely with engineers, planners, and project teams in a supportive, team-based environment

What You’ll Bring
