Test Engineer

Location: Dundee, UK

Position Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Hardware Engineering team based in Dundee. This multidisciplinary team develops and supports complex Mechatronic devices used in banking machines (ATMs) deployed worldwide.

We are seeking a Test Engineer to work as part of a cross-functional design team on development projects that deliver new devices and improvements for our 24/7 high-availability solutions.

The role involves planning and executing tests, analyzing results, and reporting using the latest technology and data-driven continuous improvement principles. A background in Mechatronics or Software is required, with basic hands-on mechanical and electronics skills being advantageous.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Computing, or related field
• Relevant work experience in a similar role is advantageous

• Develop and execute test plans for early design concepts
• Modify and write test scripts
• Capture, analyze, and report test data
• Set up and build test rigs for rapid development cycles
