Job summary

Oho Group in Cambridge is seeking a Test Engineer for a 9-month contract. The role is hands-on, focusing on automated testing across CI/CD and cloud environments.

You will develop and maintain test frameworks, improve coverage, and ensure software quality. Key activities include implementing tests with C#/.NET and Selenium, building tests in Selenium Grid, using Docker for test environments, and integrating tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET
• Hands-on testing experience across automated testing
• Experience with Selenium, Selenium Grid, Docker, Jenkins CI/CD
• Proficiency with NUnit and FluentAssertions
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and automation

I’m currently working with an established technology business in Cambridge that is looking for a Test Engineer to join the team on an initial 9-month contract.

This is a hands‑on testing role, working across automated testing, CI/CD and modern cloud‑based environments. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, improving test coverage and helping ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests using C#/.NET and Selenium
• Build and execute tests across Selenium Grid environments
• Work with Docker to support automated testing and development environments
• Integrate automated testing into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using NUnit
• Use FluentAssertions to create clear and maintainable test assertions
• Identify, investigate and report software defects
• Work closely with software developers and other engineers to improve overall product quality
• Contribute to improving testing processes, frameworks and automation coverage
