Job summary

MBDA is seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer specialising in Circuit Card electronic test to join our Bolton-based Test Development team. You will create and maintain automated test systems for small to medium-sized electronics, and drive test strategy development in line with Design for Test concepts.

You will design interchangeable test adaptors (mechanical and electrical) and develop software for automated test sequences, with opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and maintaining automated test equipment (ATE).
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design.
• Ability to author technical documentation and test strategies.
• Experience with LabVIEW/TestStand and boundary-scan tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain small to medium automated test systems.
• Develop and implement test strategies and contribute to Design for Test.
• Design Interchangeable Test Adaptors (mechanical and electrical).
• Develop software for automated test sequences per specification.
• Participate in continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
