Job summary

Tria in Gloucester is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for advanced electronic products. You will collaborate with Electronics, Firmware and Mechanical Engineers to support products from prototype through to production, ensuring thorough testing and reliability.

The role involves hands-on development of LabVIEW-based test systems, fixtures, and microcontroller-based testers, plus documenting procedures and contributing to quality

Qualifications

• Experience in automated test equipment development.
• Strong LabVIEW experience.
• Electronics design and PCB debugging.
• Embedded hardware and microcontrollers.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other test equipment.
• Knowledge of C, C++ or Python is beneficial.

We are looking for a Test Development Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test solutions for advanced electronic products. Working closely with Electronics, Firmware and Mechanical Engineers, you'll support products from prototype through to production, ensuring they are thoroughly tested and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automated test systems using LabVIEW.
• Design test equipment, fixtures and jigs.
• Support PCB bring-up, debugging and fault finding.
