Tesco PLC is recruiting for a Night Shift Lead. Base pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in some stores within the M25, plus a night premium of £2.35 per hour between midnight and 6am. Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed, with some roles from 12 hours.

Shifts scheduled with at least 3 weeks notice. You must be 18+. You will lead the team to deliver a great customer experience, collaborate across store areas, and coach colleagues to maintain high service standards.

Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts.

Please note that you need to be 18 or over to apply for this role.

You will be responsible for

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager's absence
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met.
• Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
