Job summary

Tesco is looking for a Shift Lead to drive excellent in-store experiences and support daily operations in our stores across the UK. You will lead and coach a diverse team, ensuring customer needs are met with outstanding service. The role offers flexible hours and the chance to grow within Tesco’s inclusive environment.

You will be the in-store lead in the Manager’s absence and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture while adapting to changing store priorities.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.

• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
