Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead to help run busy stores in the UK. You will lead a team, ensure great service, and maintain smooth daily operations during peak periods.

The role offers hourly pay from £15.59 and rises to £16.86 in stores within the M25, with a guaranteed minimum weekly hours and flexible shifts to suit availability. You’ll build relationships with colleagues and customers, and have opportunities to grow in a welcoming, inclusive workplace.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met.
• Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
