Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead to guide store teams and ensure excellent customer experiences. You’ll lead across departments, support colleagues with daily queries, and model inclusive leadership while staying adaptable to change.

You’ll act as the go-to for operational questions in the Manager’s absence and coach the team to deliver focused service. Candidates should have prior team-lead experience in retail, a passion for great service, and strong communication.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
