Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking a Shift Lead to drive store operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will manage day-to-day duties, lead a team across store departments, and act as a trusted presence in the absence of the Store Manager.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in retail leadership, are passionate about service, and can communicate clearly with customers and colleagues alike. A flexible, customer-focused approach is essential to succeed in this role.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
