Pay and Hours

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour, increasing to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; flexibility is available with a minimum of 12 hours for those who wish to work fewer hours.

Availability

We require availability within the following windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts.

• Sunday: 13:00 – 23:00
• Wednesday: 12:00 – 20:00
• Friday: 15:00 – 21:00

Responsibilities

• Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
• Work across the store in service, picking, and replenishment areas where required.
• Apply the training received to work safely, effectively, and serve customers brilliantly.
• Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
• Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
• Monitor store performance and contribute to driving service, sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in best condition.
• Live the Tesco values and make everyone feel welcome while following policies.
• Accept deliveries into the store when required.
