Job summary

CPJ Recruitment invites applications for an Area Sales Manager role covering landscaping products across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Herefordshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Bristol. You will manage a top territory, win specifications with contractors and architects, and nurture relationships with builders merchants.

The position is field-based, hybrid, with a high-visibility sales focus and a strong career development path within a respected manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Background in construction field sales with a stable, consistent track record.
• Experience of end to end project sales, from specification through to order, is essential.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, confident engaging decision makers at every level.

Responsibilities

• Inherit one of the best performing territories with a strong existing customer base.
• Spend around 80% of time winning and tracking project specifications with main contractors and architects across your territory.
• Spend around 20% developing relationships and back selling through builders merchants.
• Field based, covering the M4 corridor from Bristol through to Cambridge and the home counties.
• Deliver CPD presentations to specifiers and drive demand for new and existing products across accounts.
