Job summary

DPD Group is recruiting an ambitious Territory Sales Executive to join our field sales team. Your primary target is to achieve revenue growth for new business through proactive cold calling and door-to-door prospecting.

You will build a personal prospect funnel, hand over accounts to Accounts Managers after eight weeks, and pursue regular trading opportunities while meeting productivity targets and credit documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop a personal prospect funnel to fund new business targets.
• Monitor new customers and deliver action plans for variances.
• Hand over new accounts to CRM Account Manager within eight weeks.
• Pursue regular trading opportunities daily and weekly.
• Champion the partnership process with new prospects.
• Achieve 12 new prospect visits per week and portfolio targets.
• Obtain required documentation to process credit facilities to ISO standards.

Job Description

We are actively recruiting for an ambitious and motivatedTerritory Sales Executive to join and strengthen our team of skilled sales people.

As a Territory Sales Executive your primary responsibility will be to achieve the company’s revenue target for new business in line with the company’s strategy for customer size, type and service mix. Cold Calling and “door knocking” is an essential part of this role to attract and develop new business.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Identifying and developing a ‘personal prospect funnel’ sufficient in size to fund both DPD & DPD Local new business targets as laid down in the company’s strategic plan
• Monitoring performance of new customers to ensure they trade to an agreed profile. Agree and deliver action plans if variances occur
• Successfully handover all new accounts to either the Customer Care Team or relevant CRM Account Manager by the end of the first eight weeks of trade
• Identifying and pursuing regular trading opportunities on a daily and weekly basis
• To champion the “partnership process” wherever possible with any new prospects
• Achieving productivity targets. This will include 12 brand new prospect visits each week
• Achieving all portfolio product targets as laid down by the company
• Obtaining all the correct documentation required to process a credit facility to ISO standard

Your career history will clearly be able to evidence success within a sales or similar environment and a tenacious attitude and drive to succeed in a fast paced sales environment.

Your outstanding communication, persuading and influencing skills will be fully utilised in this role as will your ability to focus on your customers to fully understand their needs and gain their commitment.

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
