Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting a Territory Sales Executive to join our field sales team. Based in Stoke, Walsall or Crewe, you will drive new business, deliver revenue targets and build strong customer relationships through proactive cold calling and door-to-door outreach.

You will manage prospects from initial contact to onboarding, hand over accounts to Customer Care, and hit weekly visit targets while representing DPD’s values and ensuring ISO-standard documentation for credit facilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop a personal prospect funnel to fund new business targets.
• Monitor new customers and agree action plans for variances.
• Hand over new accounts to Customer Care or CRM Account Manager within 8 weeks.
• Identify and pursue regular trading opportunities daily and weekly.
• Champion the partnership process with new prospects where possible.
• Achieve productivity targets, including 12 new prospect visits weekly.
• Meet portfolio product targets and ensure documentation for credit facilities to ISO standards.

• Salary:Up to £37504 plus commission, company car or car allowance laptop and mobile

• Days of Work:Monday to Friday
• Hours of Work: 9:00 - 17:30

Job Description

We are actively recruiting for an ambitious and motivatedTerritory Sales Executive to join and strengthen our team of skilled sales people.

As a Territory Sales Executive your primary responsibility will be to achieve the company’s revenue target for new business in line with the company’s strategy for customer size, type and service mix. Cold Calling and “door knocking” is an essential part of this role to attract and develop new business.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Identifying and developing a ‘personal prospect funnel’ sufficient in size to fund both DPD & DPD Local new business targets as laid down in the company’s strategic plan
• Monitoring performance of new customers to ensure they trade to an agreed profile. Agree and deliver action plans if variances occur
• Successfully handover all new accounts to either the Customer Care Team or relevant CRM Account Manager by the end of the first eight weeks of trade
• Identifying and pursuing regular trading opportunities on a daily and weekly basis
• To champion the “partnership process” wherever possible with any new prospects
• Achieving productivity targets. This will include 12 brand new prospect visits each week
• Achieving all portfolio product targets as laid down by the company
• Obtaining all the correct documentation required to process a credit facility to ISO standard

Your career history will clearly be able to evidence success within a sales or similar environment and a tenacious attitude and drive to succeed in a fast paced sales environment.

Your outstanding communication, persuading and influencing skills will be fully utilised in this role as will your ability to focus on your customers to fully understand their needs and gain their commitment.
