Job summary

Clockwork Recruitment Ltd is seeking a commercially minded Business Adviser for a 12 Month FTC in Hertfordshire. In this field-based role you will partner with independent retailers and regional accounts to unlock opportunities and drive product performance across stores.

You will manage your own territory, build relationships with decision-makers, negotiate trading terms, and deliver against sales targets using data insights to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous field sales, account management, business development or retail management experience.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with confident negotiation ability.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to manage a territory effectively.
• Comfortable using data and insights to identify opportunities and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own geographical territory.
• Building strong relationships with shop owners and key decision-makers.
• Advising retailers on product availability, merchandising and category performance.
• Negotiating trading agreements and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Delivering against agreed sales and distribution targets.
• Analysing store and market data to identify growth opportunities.
• Educating retailers and store teams on products, promotions and best practices.
• Planning and executing activities to maximise business performance across your territory.
