Job summary

Advocate Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Merchandising Coordinator to manage a regional portfolio, coach field teams and ensure in-store standards and stock availability across 15–20 stores. Qualifications

• Experience in retail, merchandising or FMCG environments.
• Background in store or field management is desirable.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of approximately 15–20 retail stores across your territory.
• Drive high standards of merchandising, availability and in-store execution.
• Monitor store sales and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee the performance of third-party merchandising teams within your stores.
• Coach, support and provide constructive feedback to merchandisers.
• Build strong relationships with Store Managers and other key retail stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve operational issues before they impact store performance.
• Ensure compliance with planograms, promotional activity and merchandising standards.
• Use sales data to identify underperforming stores and opportunities for growth.
• Plan your own store visits and journeys across the territory.
• Act as the link between stores, merchandising partners and the wider business.
• Support new store openings and wider continuous improvement initiatives.
