Job summary

De Lacy Executive in the United Kingdom is seeking a seasoned on-farm sales professional to own the initial conversation through to long-term partnerships within the bovine genetics sector. You'll develop new business, expand market presence across dairy producers, and cross-sell herd improvement products from an established brand, with a clear commission structure and a company car.

Travel within the territory is required, and you’ll be trusted to manage your accounts with autonomy, building

Qualifications

• Previous commercial experience in bovine genetics.
• Deep understanding of the dairy industry.
• Well-rounded knowledge of herd management systems.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• A results-focused approach with the ability to identify win-win commercial solutions.
• Willingness to undertake regular travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Working across an established UK territory, you'll play a key role in both customer success and business growth.
• Developing and delivering a territory growth plan aligned to sales and margin objectives.
• Building strong relationships with dairy producers and industry stakeholders.
• Identifying and securing new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
• Advising on genetics strategies, breeding programmes, reproductive performance and herd improvement initiatives.
• Delivering customer reviews and tailored recommendations based on herd and business objectives.
• Monitoring sales performance, forecasting activity and collaborating with colleagues to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
• Representing the business at industry events and engaging with the wider dairy sector.
