Job summary

Helix Academies Trust is seeking a Wellbeing Intervention Support Assistant to join Marple Hall School. This permanent role offers 37 hours per week during term time, with the NJC pay scale 4, points 7–11 (£27,274–£29,071) pro rata (£23,328–£24,865).

You will support students through 1:1 interventions and small groups within our Wellbeing Team. As part of the pastoral team, you will focus on barriers to learning, demonstrate empathy, and uphold high expectations and boundaries.

Qualifications

• Commitment to young people and their development.
• Understanding of issues faced by young people.
• Ability to empathise while maintaining high expectations and clear boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Join the Wellbeing Team and support students’ learning through 1:1 intervention and small group sessions.
• Work as part of the pastoral team to address barriers to learning and wellbeing.
