Holroyd Howe, Boreham, Essex, is seeking a reliable Weekend Kitchen Porter to join our school kitchen during term-time. You will work Saturdays 11:30–19:30 and Sundays 12:00–20:00, helping maintain cleanliness, safety and efficiency in a busy education setting.

• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding kitchen environment.
• Physical stamina and capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly.

Responsabilités

• Wash, clean, and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and glassware to the highest hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas.
• Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team, including peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Stock and replenish kitchen supplies and equipment as required.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support the kitchen team during service periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations at all times.
