Hertfordshire Catering Ltd (HCL) is seeking a Mobile Cook Manager to cover South Stevenage, Welwyn, Hatfield and surrounding areas. You will lead kitchen teams, oversee daily operations, and ensure high standards of quality and service across schools.

The role requires hands-on cooking, travel between sites, and strong focus on food safety, budgeting, and staff development. Term-time schedule offered with uniform provided and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Prepare and deliver fresh, nutritious meals.

• Monitor food quality, presentation and portion control.
• Manage allergen awareness and accommodate special dietary requirements.
• Build positive relationships with staff, students and school communities.
• Maintain records (HACCP, temperature checks, audits).
