Job summary

Our Lady Of Sorrows Catholic Voluntary Academy in Doncaster is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND, SEMH and learning needs under the guidance of teaching staff.

The role is 30.5 hours per week, term time only, temporary until 31 August 2027, with safeguarding duties and DBS disclosure requirements. Start date ASAP with commitment to student wellbeing and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND/SEM H
• Experience supporting learning in a classroom
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support for individual pupils and groups
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive engagement across the school
• Assist teaching staff in delivering curriculum activities and interventions
