First Steps Together in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated SEND Assistant to support day-to-day coordination and delivery of SEND provision within the school. You will maintain SEND registers, provision maps, support plans and pupil records, and run one-to-one mentoring and small-group interventions while working with school leaders, therapists, families and external professionals.

• Experience of supporting children with SEND or additional needs.
• Understanding of inclusive practice and reasonable adjustments.
• Experience maintaining records and coordinating pupil support.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate SEND provision within the school and ensure EHCP outcomes.
• Maintain SEND registers, provision maps, support plans and pupil records.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring and small-group interventions.
• Collaborate with school leaders, teachers, therapists, families and external professionals.
• Monitor progress and evaluate interventions to improve inclusive practice.
