Job summary

St Michael's CofE Primary School is inviting applications for a fixed-term, term-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA). The role covers Reception and KS1, with a 16.25-hour week, Monday to Friday mornings until midday. Experience with SEND and prior LSA background are desirable.

DBS and past-employer checks are required, and visa sponsorship is not available. The post is linked to The Keys Academy Trust, offering Trust-wide CPD and networking across its family of schools.

Qualifications

• Experience with, or passion for, working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with pupils and their parents.
• Run structured timetables covering literacy, numeracy, social and sensory needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and keep pupils on track.
• Assist with taking pupils on educational visits.
