Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd in Kingston Upon Hull is seeking Learning Support Assistants to empower students with EHCP goals. Roles include 1:1, in-class, or community-based support with term-time only hours and flexible full- or part-time options.

You will work with teachers to differentiate resources, record interactions, and help maintain statutory EHCP records. DBS enhanced is required; prior SEND experience is valued, and CPD training is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with additional needs in education, healthcare or community settings.
• Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Commitment to term-time only, school hours 08:30–16:00.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN learners 1:1, in-class or during community trips to progress EHCP milestones.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to differentiate and modify curriculum resources.
• Record support interactions and assist with EHCP annual reviews.
