Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking Learning Support Assistants for temporary, term-time roles in England. Flexible hours with a standard day from 08:30 to 16:30, offering term-time only positions and daily pay via umbrella.

The role focuses on empowering learners with additional needs and supporting EHCP milestones, with opportunities for growth and CPD. The role involves working with high-needs learners, collaborating with teaching staff, and maintaining essential records for annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with additional needs (ASD, SEMH, sensory, or learning difficulties) in educational, healthcare, or community settings.
• Enhanced DBS certificate is required or in-progress.

Responsibilities

• Support special-needs students on a 1:1, in-class, or out-of-class basis to progress toward EHCP milestones and vocational goals.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to differentiate and modify curriculum resources during sessions and trips.
• Record support interactions to help maintain EHCP annual reviews and statutory records.
