Job summary

Gloucestershire Music, the county council's peripatetic music service, is seeking a permanent GM Music Tutor based at the Colwell Centre for Arts in Education. The role focuses on planning and delivering Whole Class Ensemble Teaching and both paired and individual instrumental and vocal lessons across county schools.

The post is part-time and term time only over 30 weeks, with flexible working options and travel between rural schools.

Qualifications

• Must be a highly skilled instrumental or vocal tutor.
• Enthusiasm and talent for music.
• Passion for music education.
• Motivation to work with children and young people.
• Driving licence and ability to travel between rural schools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Whole Class Ensemble Teaching.
