Job summary

Colchester Royal Grammar School is seeking a Music Administrator to join our welcoming music department. You will support the Director of Music and help deliver curricular and extra-curricular activities, handling busy office duties with professionalism.

This part-time role runs 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time), 8:30am to 12:30pm, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate is IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent communication and a calm, detailed approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as an administrator in a busy office.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Music and the Music department in delivery of curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Provide general admin support including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
• Coordinate communications and logistics for events and activities.
