Durham Trinity School and Sports College is seeking a reliable Driver to support teaching and learning by safely transporting students and staff in school minibuses. The role is 37 hours per week during term time, with the Governing Body aiming to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will perform daily and weekly checks, ensure fuel for the day, and help supervise pupils on trips and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• DBS disclosure required if successful.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

Responsabilités

• Carry out daily and weekly routine checks of school minibuses to ensure safe, serviceable condition.
• Ensure minibuses have adequate fuel for the day.
• Transport students and staff safely to venues.
• Assist with supervision of pupils on school trips and in class.
• Keep minibuses clean and in good condition.
