Job summary

Ashby School in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is recruiting a Minibus Driver to support student transport during the morning and after school, with movement mainly between Ibstock, Ivanhoe and Ashby centres. The role is permanent, part-time (9 hours per week across 38.2 weeks, term-time plus one day).

You will transport students safely and ensure their wellbeing, with potential shifts for school events within Leicestershire. Closing date: Friday 18th September 2026.

Qualifications

• D1 Driving Licence is essential.
• Experience transporting students a plus.
• Good communication with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely between Ashby School sites.
• Ensure student wellbeing during journeys and arrival times.
• May assist with transportation to school events within Leicestershire.
