Job summary

Bede's Trust is seeking two temporary Minibus Drivers to join our Transport Team at the Senior School in Upper Dicker. You will transport pupils to and from school, sporting fixtures, airports, activities and trips, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

The role requires a D1 licence, knowledge of the local roads, and an eye test within 3 months. 22.5 hours/week, term-time only (33 weeks/year), with open mornings on two Saturdays and one INSET day per year.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident, polite and organised individual who prioritises safety.
• A valid D1 category driving licence and knowledge of local roads.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils to and from school according to timetable and routes.
• Supervise, ensure safety and Behaviour of pupils on or around vehicles.
• Drive and operate vehicles in line with current legislation and school policies.
