Job summary

St Mary's CE Primary School in Birmingham is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant to join the school kitchen on a part-time basis (13.75 hours/week). The role runs term time only, with some teacher training days. You will support the Catering Supervisor, assist with lunch service, and help keep the kitchen clean and safe.

The ideal candidate will have experience in catering, strong communication, and a teamwork mindset, with a commitment to high customer care for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school kitchen or catering environment preferred.

• Assist the Catering Supervisor with daily kitchen tasks.
• Support lunch service and maintain cleanliness of kitchen.
