St Peter & St Paul RC Primary School is seeking a reliable School Cook to join our catering team, delivering high-quality meals in a safe, clean environment during term-time. The role reports to the Headteacher and offers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a start date in November 2026.

You will ensure compliance with food hygiene and HACCP, assist with meal service, maintain records, and promote good customer relations while keeping costs in check. Closing date 23 October 2026.

• Experience in catering or kitchen environments.

• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, COSHH and HACCP regulations.
• Assisting with organising on-site or transported meal service.
• Carrying out general kitchen and dining room duties, including cleaning and equipment setup.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and house-keeping.
• Completing simple clerical tasks (e.g. temperature logs, cleaning records).
• Promoting positive customer relations and contributing to portion control and cost-efficiency.
