Job summary

Sefton Council is seeking a part-time cleaner for our school site. The role is 15 hours per week, term-time only plus 2 weeks, with afternoon shifts from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

You will clean classrooms, shared areas, toilets, kitchens and staff facilities, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and follow safeguarding and health and safety policies. The appointment is permanent subject to probation and an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a school or commercial premises.

Responsibilities

• To clean classrooms, shared areas, toilets, kitchen and staff facilities.
• To undertake cleaning tasks to a high standard.
• To carry out deep cleaning tasks as required.
• To follow safeguarding and health and safety policies.
• To report any maintenance issues or concerns.
