Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef in a catering environment.
• Catering or culinary qualification desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals for pupils and staff.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the school kitchen.
• Ensure meals meet menus, nutritional standards, and portion controls.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, deliveries, and stock rotation.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with safety regulations.
• Complete food safety records and due diligence documentation.
• Support the wider catering team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
