Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef for Dean Trust Rose Bridge, Wigan. The role is term-time only with no weekends, offering 32.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year at 16.00 per hour.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, and support daily site operations, including inventories and budgets. Full training may be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Desirable Level 2 NVQ professional cookery or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
