Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Portchester School, Fareham to prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals during term-time. The role is Monday to Friday, 27.5 hours per week, with a fixed hourly rate of £12.71.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and school dining is desirable.
• Ability to follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Willingness to work term-time only with weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• To ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed accurately.
• To support line manager with day-to-day running including inventories, monitoring budgets and action plans.
• To enhance Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.
