Job summary

Holroyd Howe, a leading UK school catering provider, is seeking a Catering Team Member for Heath Mount School. The role supports both the café and student supper service, delivering high‑quality, nutritious meals with care, efficiency and attention to detail.

It operates as term-time only, 3.30pm–7pm, Tuesday to Thursday, at Heath Mount School, SG14 3NG. Join a team focused on allergen controls, safe meal preparation and excellent customer service for pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within contract, or high-volume catering.
• Good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused.
• Fun, enthusiastic and well organised.
• Attention to detail and team player mindset.
• Willing to adapt to varying school timetables.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with food labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controls.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Set up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
• Follow and champion allergen controls.
