St Peter’s CofE Academy is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the in-house catering team. The role involves general kitchen duties, food preparation and service, operating a cashless till, and basic cleaning tasks. Training will be provided and previous experience in education is welcome but not required.

The position is 5 hours per week during term time only, with start date ASAP. Hours typically run Monday to Friday after school, with some overtime during exam periods, and there is a fixed

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate easily with staff and students is essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the kitchen would be helpful; full training will be provided.
