Job summary

Miquill is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our Birmingham kitchen. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals using fresh ingredients while providing excellent customer service to students and staff.

The role involves tilting shifts from Monday to Friday, no weekends, 15 hours per week with term-time scheduling. Training will be provided, with a focus on health and safety and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, versatile personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and enjoy interacting with people.
• Catering experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a dynamic team to create a fun and unique dining experience for students and staff.
• Assist with preparing and serving meals.
• Operate tills (full training provided).
• Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and compliant with safety guidelines.
