Job summary

Pippa Pop-ins Nursery Schools in Fulham is seeking a Qualified Level 2 / L3 Early Years Educator to join our team. The role is term-time only, three days a week, with hours 11am–6pm, Monday to Wednesday.

You will provide high-quality care and EYFS-based activities for children aged 0–5, while working closely with parents and staff to support each child’s development. The ideal candidate has nursery childcare experience, loves working with children, and understands safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of safeguarding regulations and childcare legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
• Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities that are stimulating and engaging.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Observe and assess children's development and identify areas for support.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
• Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained; follow health and safety guidelines.
