Job summary

Pippa Pop-ins is seeking a Qualified Level 2 / L3 Early Years Educator to join our Fulham team on a term-time basis. The role is 3 days a week (Mon-Wed, 11am-6pm) with pro rata pay for part-time hours.

You will provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, plan EYFS activities, and work with parents and staff to support each child's development. Salary is £13.75–£16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of safeguarding regulations and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
• Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern.
• Collaborate with parents and other staff to support individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
• Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children.
