Job summary

Pippa Pop-ins in Fulham is seeking a Qualified Level 2/3 Early Years Educator to join our nursery team on a part-time basis. Hours are Monday to Wednesday, 11am–6pm, with a friendly, supportive environment and focus on high-quality EYFS care.

You will plan activities, monitor child development, and work closely with parents and staff to meet each child’s needs. Relevant qualifications and nursery experience are preferred, with safeguarding awareness encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent full and relevant Early Years qualification.
• Previous nursery or childcare experience required.
• Patience, empathy and love for working with children essential.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and childcare regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
• Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities that are engaging.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for learning and growth.
• Observe and assess children's development and address concerns.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and development.
• Keep the nursery clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to safeguard all children.
