North Yorkshire Council is hiring a Mobile Cook to cover schools in the Settle area, delivering nutritious, home-cooked meals to pupils and staff, in line with healthy eating standards.

You will lead kitchen teams, manage food safety, order supplies, and supervise staff, with travel between sites and a 9:00–13:30 window, term-time only. A full driving licence and personal vehicle with business use insurance are required.

Formación

• DBS disclosure is required for appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support the kitchen team to deliver meals to students and staff.
• Prepare, cook and serve meals; set up and clear dining hall; washing up.
• Supervise staff, order food, stock taking and basic administration.
• Travel to base school sites within area; driving license with business use insurance required.
