Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to cover Colne and surrounding villages. The role is term-time only with no weekends and requires own transport. You'll rotate across school locations delivering food to the highest standards.

Key duties include preparing, cooking and presenting meals, ensuring health and safety compliance, supporting location operations, supervising teams, managing inventories and budgets, and driving service excellence for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in school kitchens.
• Level 2 in Catering.
• Flexibility for term-time hours and mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure locations meet Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental regulations.
• Support day-to-day running of locations and supervise teams, including inventories, budgets, and action plans.
