Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Mobile Food Service Assistant in Swindon. The role supports multiple sites with service setup, food preparation, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area. You will serve meals to pupils, handle deliveries, and ensure high standards of hygiene and customer service.

It is a term-time, part-time position (39 weeks) with driving licence and access to a vehicle. Full training will be provided and you’ll work as part of a friendly catering team to deliver a quality experience.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable attitude for a busy environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining area for service and maintain hygiene standards.
• Serve meals to pupils in a friendly, professional manner.
• Receive and prepare delivered meals for service.
• Clear down and clean kitchen and dining areas after service.
• Support stock storage and deliveries where required.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
