Claires Court in Maidenhead is seeking an experienced Minibus Driver to join the Estates Team, transporting pupils safely between home, school and activities during term time (approximately 36 weeks per year). The role runs Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:30, delivering a calm, professional and friendly service.

You will drive minibuses on allocated routes, carry passenger registers, perform daily safety checks and report any faults promptly, ensuring pupils are seated and supervised

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid, clean UK driving licence with D1 entitlement or PCV licence.
• Proven safe and confident driving experience with children.
• Strong knowledge of the UK Highway Code and vehicle checks.

Responsabilités

• Drive school minibuses safely on allocated routes.
• Transport pupils to and from school and activities.
• Familiarise yourself with routes and diversions.
• Complete passenger registers and daily transport records.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and basic vehicle inspections.
• Check fuel, oil, water, screen wash and tyres; report faults promptly.
• Keep minibuses clean and presentable; maintain a calm onboard environment.
• Ensure seat belts are worn and safety procedures are followed.
• Work with Estates Team and school staff to safeguard pupils.
