Job summary

St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School in Angmering invites applications for a Midday Meals Supervisor. Working 6 hours 40 minutes per week during term time, you will help ensure lunchtime is safe, enjoyable and inclusive for all pupils, with duties across dining hall, playground and indoor areas.

You will promote positive behaviour, support pupils’ wellbeing and assist with basic first aid, safeguarding, and reporting incidents in line with school procedures.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and supporting their wellbeing.
• Be a positive role model with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Be reliable, caring and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understand the importance of safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.
• Be willing to undertake relevant training, including first aid and safeguarding updates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all pupils during lunchtime.
• Provide supervision in the dining hall, playground and indoor areas.
• Promote positive behaviour and respectful relationships.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development.
• Administer basic first aid when required and follow school procedures for reporting incidents.
• Maintain a safe, clean and inclusive environment for all pupils.
• Uphold the Catholic ethos and Gospel values of St Wilfrid's.
