Job summary

Rufford Primary School is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to ensure lunchtime safety and enjoyment for pupils. The role is permanent, term-time only (39 weeks) with 6.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12.00–1.15pm. The post sits at Grade 2, SCP 4 (£25,185 FTE), pro rata for the reduced hours.

You will supervise pupils in the dining hall and on the playground, promoting safe, positive behaviour and a calm lunchtime environment, working as part of a supportive team across the school.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current First Aid qualification.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality essential.
• Ability to work safely and observe practices.
• Previous experience of working in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground during lunchtimes.
• Promote safe, positive behaviour and play.
• Work as part of a supportive lunch team across the school.
