Job summary

The King Alfred School in Highbridge, Somerset is hiring a Lunchbreak Supervisor to supervise students during the lunch period, ensuring safety and orderly conduct. The role focuses on dining areas, outdoor spaces and corridors, with a strong emphasis on positive behaviour and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with children in a supervisory role.
• Flexible, calm, well-organised and initiative-taker.
• Approachable with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime in dining areas, outdoor spaces and corridors to maintain safety and good behaviour.
• Ensure students follow school rules, including proper conduct during meals, in queues, and in designated areas.
• Help keep the dining area clean by tidying up spillages and litter picking during and after the lunch break.
