Job summary

Pathway Trust is seeking a friendly Lunchbreak Supervisor to join The King Alfred School. You will help create a safe, happy lunchtime environment for pupils and supervise activities during the lunch period.

You’ll work 12:30–2:30 Monday to Friday for 38 weeks per year, contributing to order, safety and cleanliness. The role is 10 hours per week with a pay rate of £13.07 per hour (Path 1).

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children in a school setting is desirable.
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative.
• Flexible, calm and well-organised with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime in dining areas, outdoor spaces and corridors to maintain safety and good behaviour.
• Ensure students follow school rules during meals and queues.
• Help keep the dining area clean by tidying spillages and assisting with litter picking.
